¡Hola! ¡Hola! It’s Suzy, head Book Whisperer Extraordinaire for Beauty and the Book. I wanted to try something new to introduce you to even more new books than ever before. Welcome to the first-ever Book Talk Tuesday!
This week I’m sharing a Kane Miller Publication called Vlad, The World’s Worst Vampire, by Anna Wilson.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a vampire? What would your daily life include? Would you have to sleep during the day??? Would you have to suck people’s blood?!?
If so, you’ll enjoy traveling to the doom and gloom of Misery Manor as you get to know the Impaler family, the vampires who live in the mansion at the top of the hill. They have a long history of being powerful vampires who detest humans, except Vlad. He is the youngest of the Impalers and he is a terrible vampire. He dislikes everything about it and dreams of going to a regular school just like the Jollywood Academy in his favorite book. Finally, he decides he’s had enough so he runs off to spend a day at the human school at the bottom of the hill but will he be able to get back before his family notices he’s gone???
This book will have you giggling as you spend the day with Vlad and his pet bat, Flit, as they try their best to blend in at the school. If you loved Hotel Transylvania then you’ll definitely enjoy this book.
